So, using 14x7 inch wheels, with the stock brakes, what backspacing would I need for steelies?? Would these wheels still work after I do the disc brake conversion? I want to buy new wheels, and am hoping I will only need one set....

    thanks!

A 4.125" backspacing should be fine on your 14x7's w/your current stock drum brake set-up or w/a pair of "Econo Vic's" bitchin' disc brake kits, but why don't you upgrade to 15"?? There's so many more choices when you do and your van will look a lot better... Give the guys @ Wheel Smith a call @ 714.556.3861 to help you select your steelies or check 'em out at: www.thewheelsmith.net

If you use the D & D disc brake kit you can still use 14" wheels. I used a combo of AMC and late model Mustang discs on my trucks but 15" wheels are a must.
