Hi guys, first up please bear with a poor little aussie bloke and his first post here. I have been searching the net high and low for any information on this van in the pics, I own a mobile cafe here in Perth, Western Australia and have decided to combine my love of coffee and car building but i can't find out what this van is. Can anyone here help me out or point me somewhere else to look, cheers guys, Ausheli

Re: van identity
This van may be harder to identify, Looks custom from the back end and that grill looks custom. Then again it could be something we have never seen. I personnally like vans from other countries and look for them all the time, but have never seen one like this. Are you buying it??? Can you get us a picture of the motor??? It may give clues. EX: Thames vans are fords and there maybe something underthere that says Ford.

Re: van identity
looks like it might have been a hearse before its present setup. they used to display caskets in vehicles like that in europe for some reason

Re: van identity
Here a link to a toy Thames milk truck which looks a little like what you have pictured, but I'm not ruling out jkr idea of a hearse which I think it looks more like. Maybe it's a factory custom hearse of some van out there???

Pretty sure I figured out what it is..... I think it a italian made Alfa Romeo. Here a link to a picture. Notice the body line on the door.

Re: van identity
Found another site and I'm positive it's a Alfa Romeo. From your picture that van is was a ambulance or a hearse first. At this site it has a ton of infor on them. This should help you find one, but from what I see at the site there production of them is smaller than most vans.

Re: van identity
very interesting site. thought it looked like a hearse and the one in the link sure looks like it. being an a -100 pickup owner the romeo 3 pickup version would be my choice possibly with a hemi and a dana rear after a little tub job of course.

Re: van identity
yup it's alfa
i've only seen one alfa VAN before , pretty neat, custom design back end
is my guess as well too though
jeep made a van too , big time rare, looked like a hummer with no windows

Re: van identity
As much as we pride ourself's on our early's we have to give credit to Europe where they really began.
