    Been thinking about fixing-up a pickup with the kid, so I've started to stop and look when I see a fixer-upper. This one may be too far gone, but what is it?

    The last one is the center of the hood. I found a piece of the emblem, it just said 'Overdrive'. It also looks like an aftermarket motor mount..?

    What you have there is a 1953-55 Ford F-100 Nice project and they make cool hotrods.

    I just noticed I posted one picture twice, I replaced it with a front shot.

    Thanks for the help, really didn't know what it was..

    The Oldsmobile column and steering-wheel really look out of place.

    There is another old Ford sitting next to it, looks pretty cool too, you can see some of it in the pics. I considered that one too, but would knock the lock boxes off the back and put a wooden flatbed.

    There's another one thats been sitting disassembled behind the local pharmacy. I noticed it about five years ago, and it hasn't been touched since. the frame, front and back straight axles, and cab all leaning against a wall. Off topic for this site, but I might post a picture anyway.

    It looks like a 55 with a 351 Windsor. Pretty butchered up. Good news is they reproduce just about everything for that truck. Bad news is it needs everything. Pretty sad looking truck. The other is a 48-52 F-1.

    I found out that my wife's grandpa drove her around in a 55 when she was a kid. We went by to check it out but the cab is gone now. The frame, fenders, and hood, are all that's left.
