    I know some where I have read on this before,maybe I wasn't diggin deep enough.
    I've seen the bowties different colors.Mainly red and gold/yellow.Is there any significance of it? motor/model/plant ??

    I have a blue one, and used to think blues were only on 69 and 70 for a while and reds on 67 and 68. But that was proved wrong. I now think it's whatever the guy on the line pulled out of the box

    I got into this about a year ago and the only logical answer I got was they just used what they happened to have in inventory when the van came off the line.
