Quick Exhaust Question

Got to get my exhaust done.I believe I still have the original.
On my van it exits in front of right rear tire.
Was this Stock ?
Should I go out the back or the side like it is now ?
Just need to hear a few opinions before I have to decide.

Pretty sure the hanger is in front of the wheel. Gas tank fills up a lot of space behind the axle, so rear exit would be tricky (though ultimately cool!)

I once had a 64 8 door that had two pipes going out the rear of the van. It was pretty cool but I am more of a zoomie person.

I originally wanted dual exhausts out the back, on either side of the license plate (with outlets formed into the rear roll pan), but the gas tank proved too much of an obstacle (and I didn't feel like moving and/or modifying it).

Went with side pipes instead.
