It took seven weeks to get it since they had to polish it. It is aluminum with ribs on top. Installed it today.Looks pretty good. I will post pics tomorrow. I hope to get the new aluminum radiator with chrome shroud and chrome electric fan in this week then the new 2 barrel carb. I am just waiting on a new custom made throttle cable to get here. Also getting my side and rear door panels upholstered this week.

Re: Got my new valve cover today
VB, Two things. 1.) Where did you get the Spectre intake system? I like the looks of it and was thinking of installing one on my ('66 350 sportvan) van. I found them at Summit Racing but I'm also looking for other resources. 2.) Seeing that screwdriver resting on your seat give me the chills. I could see me doing that and then sitting on it and poking a hole in my seat!. Thanks, Bill.

Re: Got my new valve cover today
I got it all on ebay. All the tubing is metal not plastic like you can get at Auto Zone. The bonnet is aluminum. Here is a link to the seller I got it all from. He has different bonnets in different sizes and shapes. Also 4" or 3" inch tubing. I used three inch tubing.

That looks great, Is that the 3.5" tall bonnet? Ive gotten several things from Nolimitmotorsports, including the fittings for the air, its always been good stuff.

Yes it is the 3 1/2" bonnet. Everything I have ever bought from nolimitmotorsports has been great quality and they ship quickly. They call these bonnets plenums so if you go to their store you have to scroll down to plenums.Digz wrote:That looks great, Is that the 3.5" tall bonnet?
