i think i have found my dodge van

im going to bombard this post with lots of pictures. hahaha

why is that VIN tag in english and spanish?

sold in mexico as well

did the odmiter roll over or does the owner not know ? my van rolled over once and had 170,000 miles on it

he bought it more than 20 yrs ago for his son, brought it home and can not remember if it was driven or towed. i was thinking the mile marker cable was disconected sometime during the life of the van, or that it had turned over and ended there. how can i find if it did in fact rolled once and its in its second time around?

I would say it's on the 2nd time around look at the dings & dents , any repaint?? look at the gas & breake pedal rubber are they warn-out is there any service stickers on the door jams is there much oil on the walls of the dog house, is the floor mat warn-out . you have to take a slow look at every thing!!!!!

'65 has the funky 'Park' cable for the paw (sp?), so grab both trans cables and the other stuff.

One of brackets between the motor mount and frame are also required to swap out a /6 to a small block V8, but I forget which one.

Is that a Hazard flasher knob I see on the left side of the dash?

IMO - Being a camper, there is a chance it may be original milage.

I didnt see your offical "I'm partin it out" post but it sound slike you are if s0 why?a v8 auto camper with cool ass wheels you should put it back on the road.those reverse lights are aftermarket and it looks like itt has 2nd gen ford econo side markers and is that original Dodge keys hangin in the ignition?

that is a hazard flasher knob.. those are, i think, the original keys too.. owner didnt knew he still had 'em haha

and as far as parting out i still need to see how bad it is on the bottom, the engine, how hard would it be to fix it.. get used to those camper windows,,
then decide whats going to happen.
and for those wheels, i kinda like the newer-steel-wheel-older-hubcap combo better...maybe even baby moons..

the engine to the frame bracket on the drivers dide is the one to save!!! also both of the brackets from the motor mount to the engine.

i would also keep the trans. they are getting hard two find!!!!

I'd rather it get recycled into a driver than a donor.

Itold my wife if she didn't back-off when i finish the van I was going to name it the Hag Hauler. she backed off.now i have to come up with a new name!!!

i got in a lot of trouble with my drinking years ago, ladies,cars- and they wernt even mine l.o.l... my sweetheart dosent mind me in the garage. and my toys are still cheper tha the fines i had to pay....

Ya I hear ya wylee, My wife out of the blue last week was complaning that the yard was EMPTY! God I love her! Im doing a total makeover on the wrecker this weekend. Should be back in service in a few weeks, Two weeks I hope! Then I can drag orphans home once again!

mine moved out and i got another one that searches for them for me, she found me one yesterday for 400, shes making room in the back yard now....that makes 8 1st gen E's,
