by Guest Tue Jan 19, 2010 10:32 pmHi guys, I'm still looking for an unbroken shift lever for my 1965 Chevy Sportvan (for the 1st/reverse - between the Shift rod and the transmission).
The one I have snapped (apparently for the 2nd time) and we re-welded it back together for now. I was advised earlier in this forum to weld a washer to it for reinforcement. Great idea but I think I would still like to reinforce an original, unbroken one that will last a lot longer. But it's been a damn hard part to find.
Any ideas?
