I finally got a chrome bumper for my 65 Econo, It was just chromed and is in perfect condition. It is one for a 64 Econo though so it has the place for a license plate. I am thinking of putting a Route 66 plate on it and keeping the regular license plate on the rear door. I need the two stock license plate lights that go on the bumper though.

Re: New chrome bumper
That's a gorgeous bumper, and it looks great on the van, but I prefer the
plate on the bumper, period, Cleans up the backend, although now I realize that if you do that you'll have to repaint the door.
I don't have a rear bumper on my '64, but now I have to figure out how to light the plate. The grote link gave me some ideas, I've bookmarked the link. Thanks JKR.

Re: New chrome bumper
there is somewhere out there a real neat set of bolts with lites in the heads that hold your plate on and light up your plate. saw them a few years ago but haven't seen them since.
