    hey guys, anyone know where you can find the e-brake cable and brake pedal return spring for a '62? econo?

    I'm not sure about mine... I have one good one in my 64, one questionable one in the Merc, and another that I should be getting out of my trailer in about a month... I've committed one to abother friend, so I have to hopefully get the one in the Merc working properly and then I'd have an extra in about a month...

    hey Steve..just use any spring with enough tension to return the peddle to where its supposed to be but not strong enough to make the big push difficult. this may take a couple of tries. Measure your e brake cable, go to any speed shop and buy a set of universal cables. you may need to fabricate a few parts(like the common point where they meet) buts that what we do. Al

    now i gots to out to the 63 and check out what i did . Seems to me it was a bolt with a hole drilled thru it and the aircraft cable held in place by the nut
