It was only surface rust now so I thought I would get rid of it before it gets worse. Sorry I forgot to take pictures before I started.
Then i got the floor all primed. So then I had an idea for a center console in my head, grabbed some cardboard and made a template. It took a little to get it just right, a lot of trial and error. I used 1/2" plywood and painted it flat black for now, just wanted to see how it would look. I'm going to wrap it in carpet or vinyl not sure yet.
Over all I think it turned out pretty close to how it looked in my head.
