Rear view mirror Empty Rear view mirror

Post by kiwimopar Wed Mar 20, 2024 2:04 pm

    A100 pickup - 1968

Can anyone help with pictures of the rear view mirror please?

I have new sun visors, and the pegs on the ends have nowhere to 'seat'

There must me a variation for the visors at rest when not used.

    Thanks.

Looking again, the tips I bought are for 65-67 only.  The mirror bracket must be different.

They rest on a separate clip, not The mirror itself.

Below are some links overview images showing how it looks on my early '69 model. I assume, it's still original.

    Closeup zoom:

If you need better quality (I was in a little hurry), let me know. Smile

I searched for a while and found some very similar plastic fittings for another model car that look like they will work. Chinese made and less than $10 a pair shipped is worth a gamble IMHO.
I will show when they arrive....the ones I bought are brown, but I'm sure they can be painted.
