    got some rust at all leaf spring boxes. Previous repairs are pretty sketchy.

    Rest of frame is actually pretty decent so not sure if this is a common trouble spot.

    Anyone done this type of repair assuming I can repair it (!)

    I'm not able to see the photos at the link. It gives a 404 - not found.

    Oooph!  That's ugly for sure.  

    I don't think there's gonna be an easy fix for those.  I'd, personally, cut out all that rusty stuff 'til there's solid metal.  From there you'll need to recreate the sections you removed.  It'll be a ton of cutting, bending, fitting and welding.  

    When it's done you'll be psyched that it doesn't look like a careless, scabbed on mess.

    This is how someone "fixed" the shock mounts on my truck. Angle iron and metal roofing screws...

    Go one thickness thicker than the original with flat plate & re-box it up.
