    Was there really a Mercury version?! Did they give it a name different than Econoline? Was it like Chevrolet and GMC, where the only difference was the badges?

    there was a mercury version i know of 1 restored original in Canada and a 2nd in Michigan
    i don't have the answers regarding the rest. But they are rare.
    that one is sweet...

    I know GM manufactured the vans in Canada with a GMC badge to get around some rule. Maybe the same thing with Ford and Mercury.

    Reminds me of the Pontiac Beaumont that was a Chevelle made in Canada. I actually saw a restored one of these here in San Diego. Definitely a rare variant.
