Is there anything more than Avalon on the island? Surely not many Earlys or other cars there,,,,,,,do people Ferry their vehicles out there?

Hey Don , Hop on a boat and sail over to Catalina , pretty interesting place . William Wrigley of gum fame bought over 90 % of the island in 1919 , the Chicago Cubs held spring training there for many years . Be sure and take one of the island tours . You need a permit to have a car on the island , was told the waiting list is so long that by the time your permit was issued your grandkids would be old enough to drive . Last year gas was over $7 a gallon. The main mode of transportation was golf carts . ,,,,I think after a few days on that island, me and my Chevy would sure be missing the freedom of cruising the beaches, mountains, valleys and Deserts and seeing and meeting all the vans and vanners on the mainland............there are so many places to see in this country......
