I am unable to get the window to roll back up. I rolled it down below the top of the door and it will not go back up. The handle will not turn and i do not want to strip anything. I am currently trying to remove the wing window but now the glass from the main window has shifted forward and I am unable to take the wing window out, nor am I able to return it to it's proper position because of the glass sliding forward. Please offer suggestions. I have no idea how I can remove the regulator because of the tight space.

Just got the whole regulator out... the mechanism won't turn back the one way... it could keep tightening but will not reverse... Does this mean that i need to replace the whole thing? and if so, any recommendations as to where to purchase?

if the worm gear is damaged, do i just get a re-manufactured assembly? the ones i see online have two additional wheels for the window to ride on... if it is just jammed and the drilling of the rivets works to free it up, then i just bolt it back together? did i turn it too far? i guess?

that handle shaft kinda has bushings and a brake inside it,,,,,,try and unhook the spring to take the pressure off the gears and see if the regulator works,,,,,,,,, drivers regulators are usually worn out,,,,,

if it is toast, do you have a good site to get a replacement?
I found this one, but don't know if this will actually fit...

i didnt drill out the rivets yet... i did take the pressure off and it only allowed me to tighten it further.. but not back it off... I will reach out to "Mac" as well to see if he doesn't want me to before i were to send to him. (just in case)
