by slowflapper Tue Aug 22, 2017 6:16 pmWell I got tired of wearing my arms out trying to wax all my old rides so I bought myself a "Presa Turbine" 6" buffer off Amazon. I ordered an extra pad kit, two bottles of Meguires 105 and 205 compound and some good wax.
My plan is to compound the original Arctic Blue on the van and see how it comes out, followed my our '77 F250
I had time today to make a quick pass over the passenger door with some regular old turtle wax compound. I've got to say I'm loving this thing already, by the time I get the 2 part compound done with a coat of wax the old van is going to be gleaming.
I figured ya'll would enjoy so I'll update my progress here.
Here's a quick shot, the pillar between the passenger and side door is a great contrast to the side door which I haven't hit yet. I hit the top part of the front under the windshield as well, no wax on anything yet, just compound and wipe off.
