Headliner & Side Panels Empty Headliner & Side Panels

Post by mattimuss Tue May 19, 2009 7:09 am

    Hey To All!

So, I have been looking at my sagging, discolored, ugly headliner with disdain. I am wondering if anyone has replaced theirs. If so, what did you use? Can you buy replacement headliners and panels? Any ideas on other than NOS materials?

    Thanks!

No repops on the headliner and side panels. You can grab a headliner out of a newer Dodge van and trim it down. Made out of fiberboard material.

Sorry to drag this one back from the back....

Do the A100 headliners have any sort of 'bows' or strength ribs to hold them in place? Or is the fibreboard just clipped in place?

Mine is just a bare steel roof - probably just get it covered with sound deadener and fabric.

If you want to see what the originals looked like, I posted a picture of mine here: http://vintage-vans.smugmug.com/Vans/Velma-Skooby/10727541_xmjnR#777760500_g5eCt-X3-LB

I've never pulled it down, so I don't know what's above it.

Thats what the basic A100s had. The Sportsmans had a full headliner from the windshield to the back doors. Mine is missing and I've been trying to find one. And SnarkyPoet-loving your A100!!!!!!! You even have the original back seat!!!!! I had to replace mine with one from a 70s Dodge van, just not the same. Keep up the great work on it!!!!!

I saved my full cardboard roof liner on my 65 spotrsman. I can scribe them on a thick sheet of heavy paper to use as templates if anyone needs it.
