Now that I finally figured out how to upload pictures, I thought I'd share my 68 Sportvan 108 Custom 4x4. It's got a Chevy 5.7L TBI, Turbo 400, NP241C, Dana 44HD front axle, 14 bolt semi float rear axle, Electric power steering assist, hydroboost power brakes, 34 x 11.50 Mud terrains, and tons of custom stuff, etc....

Looks like it'll go just about anywhere! What's are the bumpers off of?

I made the bumpers for the van. And the rack too, although I still need to do a little more work on that so I can paint it.

I made the feet, too. I couldn't find anything to fit or that wasn't rediculously overpriced. Plus, It's easier for me to make them.

Beautiful- you've gotta share the process- I'm planning on making a half rack for behind my pop up and that would be cherry, what tubing and metal pieces did you use. Sorry for hijacking the thread! Beautiful work on your bumpers too!!!🙌🏼

I used 3/4" 14 gauge tube for the whole rack, 2" x 1/4" for the feet and 11 gauge for the gutter clamps and 5/16" x 2" bolts and lock nuts. Detailed build over on expeditionportal.com in 4x4 camper forum. Thanks!
