    I have a big Crack in my gas tank anyone know what tanks will interchange with the vans? We have a big swap meet coming up time for parts hunting.

    We have limited options for gas tanks. I'm pretty sure there are no aftermarket replacements so most people repair theirs. Or search junkyards or on here for another member that might have one for sale. Sorry for the bad news.

    Thanks guys. I think I will just try and patch it and hope for the best. Lol no parts seem to come easy on the vans.

    Find a local radiator/tank shop in your area. Have it boiled and patched, a good tank guy can make it like new. There are also a few services online that you can ship an old tank too and have it refurbished and shipped back to you.

    I think (from what i heard) that the 2nd gen tanks won't fit because they are longer. The front crossmember would need to be moved forward to make room for the longer tank. Other people have done this.

    I think I'm going to try and fit a jeep wrangler tank in I've built a lot of wranglers and have a buddy who is willing to give me a tank by looking at it I think it actually might work if it does I'll post some pictures. Fingers crossed
