by rustytoolss Mon Jun 15, 2015 7:26 pmI've got questions about replacing king pins. I've looked at several kits (rockAuto). Some of the kits have a retainer, that holds the king pin COVER/freeze plug in position. (so theres a freeze plug, a retainer & a bolt.
On my 1964 a100 pickup There's is no threaded hole for the retainer/bolt system. All my 64 has is the freeze plug cover (which would be hammered in).
So do most of the A100's use the retainer/bolt system...or not ? I'm just asking ??
