I have a 61 truck will the later heater work?? Mine is on floor and the newer ones are mounted higher, cleaner look

I'm pretty sure some have already done this. Someone will chime in. You will need to patch the floor where the old heater was.

If you do a search for heater, there's a thread called "upgrade heater box that has some info. Seems that the wiper motor was mounted at a slightly different angle to avoid the defroster.
