I removed most the surface rust today and discovered some areas of concern. My friend fabricator) housing the van at his garage has advised me to make templates of all peices to be replaced/welded. He will then plasma cut all pieces at his shop from 18 gauge and show me how to tack/weld in place. Open to any advice. Smile

    Areas needing repair are:
    floor by gas filler neck
area behind passeger rear wheel well to back door
behind passeneger seat, just behind wheel well.

We all need friends who are fabricators. Your rust is not as bad as some of mine. Make sure to cut out all the rust, or it will keep growing.
