My old man hipped me to the idea about removing the vent windows on the driver and passenger windows, and creating one whole window to roll up and down. Has anyone tried this yet? Anyone have any pointers, asides from the obvious of having to fabricate a window and channel.

Re: Removing vent windows
for what its worth- when the car manfacturer's did away with the vent windows -it only allowed the heat to stay in the vehicle longer!! The vent window could be opened to blow air inside & on the drivers area & added a cooling effect! If removed -you will miss that benefit!!

Re: Removing vent windows
I surely could not live without vent windows,,,,,,,,and I don't think the window will go all the way down if you remove the vents,,,,,

Re: Removing vent windows
I love my vent windows. but, I go for usability over looks any day. but, then again, I think they look better with vents too.
