His wife said he was in Hospice care since Friday and was going downhill rapidly. The world and the van-world have lost a very special person. I never thought I would have to make such a post and it deeply saddens me. I know from conversations with Chris that the Baker's Show must go on and will go on for years to come. Although I think I will change the name to the Baker's/G-Man Memorial Van Show. I will be sponsoring an online fund raiser for the family as well as a fund raiser at the Van Show. Very sad news, my condolences to his family. Chris was hands down one of the nicest people I have ever met, I feel blessed to have known him. He sure was a bright star in the vanning community and world in general. At least he is now free from any more pain or suffering. Why do the truly good people always leave this world much too soon???
