Wow, this is very sad news. He has helped me in every way restore my van to what it is today. He help pull me through the frustrating times when you just want to give up and sell the damn thing. If it wasn't for his guidance I probably wouldn't be typing this right now. I truly hope he has found peace and will miss his expertise on my future projects.....

I never met him but based on how he was on this forumHe was a wealth of knowledge, always kept up with everyones build projects and always rooted you on and gave you positive input. He was very friendly. The world lost a great vanner. RIP

For the most part, Vanners are warm, helpful and engaging people. Chris took that to another level.

I was fortunate enough to have spent some time with him at a van show in '09. He pulled up in his yellow van and was grinning ear to ear. Stories were told. Laughter ensued. Parts were purchased. It was a damn good Labor Day weekend. I regret not being able to spend more time with him.

Here's to Chris, one of the most personable people I've ever met. You will be missed my friend.

Thinking of Gman today. Found another shot of him living it up while He was still on this temporary home. Wonder what God put Him in charge of in Heaven? He must have needed Him up there more than we did down here, Life is way too short. Only the good die young.
