Glad someone here got this one. While here at VV I have only seen 4-5 no doors. They have to be rare.

It will have to be trailered, the tires will not hold air. It is his moms van and from what I can gather she has owned it for over 20 years, maybe more. It has not moved in at least 6 years, but was driven to its present "resting" spot. It is not non-opt, but should be out of the computer. He also said that there is no dents or rot on the body, except for some rust around the windshield, but he doesnt believe its gone through.

Awesome! Take a can or two (or four Laughing ) of puncture seal and a good air pump... hopefully easier to roll on the trailer that way, and not damage the rims... great score!

I think I'll wear out the camera when I go to pick it up! Thanks for the tip sasktrini, I didnt think about hurtin the wheels. Whats to bolt pattern on it? Maybe I'll take another set of wheels and tires for transporting, I dont want to hurt the slots.

Hey cowboy glad you got the van. I told that guy i knew someone that might buy it and you did. Great news. If you had not got it I was going to get it but it would have had to sit till I got the 65 finished.

Nope, thats a pic from the add. We did this over the phone, cant leave the mountain since I'm on call. I didnt want to lose out on the van so I offered full price. Sure I could maybe find one cheaper, but probably not a no door that already has a running/driving V8, thats only 30 miles away. I thought $1200 was cheap for it.

Yes I am. He's only 20 miles from me. The pattern on the rims is 5x4.5

Dont call him back! I think I can get a better price that way. I almost positive I have a set of wheels and tires that will work.

Oh I won't. I posted the van hoping you would go for it. He told me that the price is negotiable. I bet he would take $900.00 for it. Maybe less since he wants to get rid of it quick.

Thats what I was thinkin, and I hit him with $900 this morning, thats when he played you against me. I told him that I might be able to go to $1200 but it depends on its condition when I see it up close. I'll probably take off early next Wednesday to go down and check it out and make him a solid offer and give him a deposit to cement the deal.

when you look at it look at the glove box if it is still there. If it is wet then that rust goes all the way through and you will probably have to remove the windshield to repair it. also look for rust around the battery box and base of the doghouse. Look for rust in front of the passengers seat too in case that rust went all the way through
