We got a bit of rain yesterday,so Don's getting prepared for the next few days ahead.
As we were crossing that narrow steel grate bridge over the Ohio River,tornado warnings were comin across the radio.So,the Governor was a lil uptight for a moment,X2   ,after his ordeal last year in Oklahoma passing through one.
But soon after the clouds blew away,and all was good again.
Had a real good visit with Donivan,Wideload & Co.It's always fun hanging out with those folks,Good People. Thanks for letting me crash a couple of days at your place.Btw...great bbq you cooked up for us.
Don should be rolling into the Windy City about now for his visit with family,the old neighborhood,and chili dogs.

Don, how long are you planning to stay in Chicago? I'll owe you a lunch every year for a long time for all the help you've given me!

I will probably be sitting here,,,,in a driveway,,,,in my motorhome,,,,,on my laptop,,,,,in Chicago,,,,for 2 weeks,,,,,,

,,and then the Tornado sirens went off for 10 minutes,,,,,,,,,,but my motorhome is still here,,,,,looks like rain until next Sunday,,,,and in the 50's,,,,yep,,,,it sure is good to be back home again,,,,,,,

I just saw that wildfire headline when I logged in this morning. I hope all of you Van Diego guys and gals are OK and don't lose your homes. I don't know if I could get used to those wildfires that seem to happen quite frequently. Hopefully, they will get these under control quickly. Prayers and thoughts go out to all of you!

.....and I am trapped here watching the weather report so I can find out what hours I can go cruising around visiting my relatives without getting soaked,,,,so 100 degrees back home,,,rain and 30's out here,,,,do I know how to have fun or what?,,,,,none of the vanners live where the fire is,,,,,but they pop up everywhere all the time,,,,
