    ok guys ... i have swapped out my external voltage regulator and weak 55 amp altenator with a 140 amp one off of a 95 caddy and ditched the points type distributor with a brand new HEI with a 65k volt coil and Accel yellow 8mm wires (from skip white performance) ... my question now is whats the best spark plug i should use ???

    Platinum or the irridium tiped ones .heat & fuels wont destroy them

    I am running AC Delco plugs in my 69 Handi van. It has a 307 V8 kn it. I have Been running them for 2 years with no problems! R45 standard gap on 35

    i was thinking it should be around .050 gap with the new 65k volt HEI dist.
