by Rayallen Fri Jul 20, 2012 2:48 pmGuys what was cause a mechanical oil pressure gauge not to read. I have the motor running now and im attempting to make sure I have coolant flowing, alternator charging and good oil pressure.
the oil pressure gauge is not moving off of zero. I have the clear tube setup that I had on the 170 before. I can see the oil trying to move threw the tube but its not giving a reading.
Did the gauge go bad sitting for a while or is it moisture build up in the line, maybe dirt. Any ideas..
