    Horn relay Empty Horn relay

Post by Rayallen Mon Jul 02, 2012 7:02 am

Question, can the horn replay be relocated. When I switched over to my alternator I tossed the voltage regulator seeing that I no longer needed it. In the process I removed the horn relay which is located below the voltage reg.

I know there are others on here that have removed the Voltage Regulator but what did you do with the horn relay when you did? I finally hooked up my battery and everything electric is working besides the horn, thats how I figured out I removed it Embarassed

You can put it anywhere,,,,you connect the horn, battery and the wire from the horn button to it and ground it to the body and you are good to go,,,,so if you put it under the dash, all you need to do is run a wire down to the horn,,,,the other 2 wires are close by,,,,,
