    i finally sold the van, got what i wanted out of her and i'm on to a new project. 1954 pontiac cheiftain with a six banging flathead. i want to thank all you guys on here for the great help and answers to my questions for the last three years! vans are a lot of fun and having that flat nose was the result of a childhood dream. now i gotta find a forum thats as nice as this one for the poncho... take care and keep on VANNIN!

    Check out the HAMB for traditional rods and customs with a lot of knowledge. I don't know of any 50s Pontiac forums, but I'm sure any site will be happy to have you as a member!

    just bought a clock from a '54 pontiac yestarday. i was going to start hacking it up today until i saw your post. if you need it, i can find something else, i dont need '54 pontiac' clock. just an old clock with chrome that goes with my dash. i am not trying to get rid of it, but can appreciate how hard it is to find the exact part you need.
