it was great to follow along (via posted pics) on last years trip. looking forward to what 2012 has up it’s sleeve. hoping it’s just sunny open roads and mild temps.

They said there were 1700 Tornados last Summer, and that Joplin would of got me if I didn't decide to stay an extra day to watch the season finale of a TV program before I left,,,,,I pull into Joplin the next day after the Tornado and my gas station was completely gone,,,,,

Hey Don, have a good trip! I'll take over for you while you're gone, keeping an eye out for local Earlies here in SD.

Speaking of which, I found that yellow 2nd Gen that got away from us after the Big 3. Derek replied to me and I directed him to our site. His van's got a bad case of that beach roof rot.

OK,,,,sitting here on I-40 in Williams at the Grand Canyon Railway Station,,,did not think I would be here tonight,,,,,in The Desert, my motorhome started cutting out trying to climb up to 6000 feet to Prescott,,,,I surely thought I would be stuck in the middle of a mountain road, around a curve, in the middle of the Prescott Forest,changing the fuel pump or cleaning the carburetor or fuel screen out,,,,but the cold air up there stopped the vapor locking, it had never acted like that before,I never bought gas at that station and I filled up with a higher grade in Prescott about an hour ago,,,so I am a HAPPY CAMPER right this minute,,,

In the middle of the Arizona Desert is a town called Hope,,,,and once you pass it you need to climb up to 6000 feet and drive through a twisty turning road through a Forest road to get to civilization in Prescott,,,,,and I had almost given up of getting there yesterday,,,
