Not sure if yours came with or not.Back then, safety belts were pretty much an option to have, let alone to wear.Several folks on here have made nice 3 point systems.I'm sure they'll chime in or link you to theirs.

I wouldn't mess with 40 something year old belts. New lap belts are cheap. New 3 point belts are just a little more.

Here are the ones I used in my truck.

    Wesco

Don't skimp on safety. I've had the doors fly open just from body flex and I sure wouldn't want to kiss that steering wheel or metal dash.

There are a couple of threads on belts. Do a search on them.

If you just have to have vintage buckles then there are companies that will reweb a set of stock belts but it gets real pricy and the don't refinish the chrome.

    Duane in Tennessee.

none of the 1st gens I have owned came with factory seatbelts. I took the lap belts out of a '68 and use them in my daily driver.

It was 1965 when lap belts became mandatory in the front seats of cars. 1966 they were mandatory in front and back of cars. I believe 67 they became mandatory in trucks.
