    I was wondering if any One here with a Big 6 or V8 Crossmember has Put spacers between the crossmember and the unibody to Drop the motor Down ??? if so Do you have pictures of it ??? Thanks' ...........

    I was thinking there was also .... Cant seem to find any thing on this ..... I have seen chevys done this way !!!!! I am thinking that if I drop the motor down I can get a better Drive line angle ..... Looks Like You would have to go with 4 Blocks on a Ford !!!!!!

    drop was 2" and same for xmember - with 700r4 as i remember?seems was dadio1 or??

    There are 2 articles scanned and posted here. I think the 2nd one shows a drop. Why do you want to lower the motor?

    likely - will need more drop @ the tranny mount?? maybe even a carb adapter for the angle? Like on the old imboard marine engines? Just thinking?
