2011 carlisle

carlisle was great this year. the biggest showing of econolines i have ever seen there! to bad ford dropped the ball with the "50th" WTF! here are a couple pics i took while there saturday afternoon. a big thanks to tim for my bench seat and tee shirt, and jim for the poster, and ken for the other tee shirt. one of these years i'll get my van up there:)

Recognize Fred's van, his RI buddy whose name I can't remember and the Shinn brothers' vans. Looks like a good time!

Great looking brunch of Econo's

Thanks for the pics wildbill. I recognized a few of the Econolines also. Good to see that many made it to the show. Maybe we can get up there one of these years.

I had a friend show me other pic's from this show as he just returned. All I can say is Wow thats a giant Ford show. Looks like it was Ford heaven

Great show . Nice to put some names and faces together. Wish I had more time to hang but I was selling this year. I think next yr I will ditch the vending and bring the van.Not as profitable as years past.

Killer time all day and especially evenings too. Best Carlisle ever. 19 earlies,1 mid,a 3rd gen and 3 late models. 24 total. Weather was awsome for once. Minor sprinkle late afternoon Saturday but no biggie. Tons of parts,goodies,shirts,pins,posters and collectables. Hats off to everyone who went the extra mile to make it a great event! Scored a few nice NOS parts while there too.

You must be John with the blue van. I got a text you were looking for me for a shirt and sway bar but my phone had been dead so I got it late. I can mail ya a shirt if ya still want one but need to know the size.

Thanks wildbill for the pics. Maybe one day we can see how many folks have our early Econolines in Virginia and get a meet and great together.
