I just picked up a new Dewalt 18V cordless sawzall today. Set me back $200 but I ll get my moneys worth out of it in the first week cutting up a van given to me thats sitting in a field on blocks,no axles. Its got a good windshield, original seats, visors, glove box door, and other stuff to get off of it. I ll haul the rest off for scrap and get my sawzall money back.

That is a nice saw. I have one and an 18 volt Makita. The Makita will cut more per charge though.

Re: Bought a New Tool
I ve got a corded Makita also for around the house. I amost bought a combo set from Dewalt that had the sawzall, drill, circular saw, impact driver and flashlight for $249 but I noticed all of the tools were a step down from the normal tool line product when bought individually and the 2 batteries werent the top of the line ones either. I didnt really need those other tools since I ve got a lot of tools already so I opted for the one better quallity tool and battery. Battery alone sells for $89.00
I ve got a set of torches too but tanks are too big to take anywhere. Next on my list is a portable torch set. Then I ll be able to tackle anything, anywhere.
