Sorry VH 2nd gen's vents are very different than that. Hard to find part with the tabs not broken

VH when I first got my 69 one of the vents were broken and I was able to fix it.(wish I saved it to show you) I hope this will make sence. One of my tabs was broken and bolted on a "L" bracket to the tube part. The bracket was more like a "7". Then I used a bolt as a tension set to hold it down. The tension bolt pushes against the under the dash and pulls the vent down. When I did find new vents they didn't hold down as well as the one I fixed.

VH let me add to this , you have to put this all together under the dash and I won't lie it's a pain. As you know not alot of room under there

curious as to if the GM pickup vents are same -like 67-72 stuff- in catalogue they look like vans vents ??
