Upholstery Paint Questions Empty Upholstery Paint Questions

I've got seats from an early Miata - black cloth facing with vinyl back. In very good shape and they work great in the van. The only issue is the cloth is faded. Not bad actually, but could look a lot better, I think.

I've never used upholstery spray paint but I think this might be a good way to spruce these up. I only need to do the cloth part, as the vinyl looks fine, and they need to stay black. Any advice?

A buddy simply used fabric dye once from a grocery store on some maroon seats and they actuallyy turned out great. He sprayed it with his paint gun.

Tim right , but try to look on the package or on the internet how to set the dye so you don't get dye bleeding
