Wild thoughts what do you guys think of mix matching a blazer front axle and trans/transfer case with either a astro rear end with disc bk on it or a taho rear end with disc bks. would rebuld both same gear ratio and puting them in my 1970. i had a 86 k5 lined up but the guy sold it while i was deer hunting

Welcome ! I dont know much about the 4x4 part but the rear disc set-ups are still having the bugs worked out by a few of us. There are a few trade-offs with non-power 4 wheel disc right now given the room and set up of our current MCs and brake pedal layouts, but we are gaining, I think. JMO
