thanks to all who served this great country. What an honor to selfishly serve and risk your life so others can be free. You are truly among Americas best. I was wounded for the fourth time on Veterans day 1969 at 5:38 PM so I don't do anything on Nov 11th but sit and remember that day, those that died in my arms and those that were severely wounded. A special thanks to the 173rd Airborne Brigade ( The Herd or Sky Soldiers) who I fought with and to all of my fellow MACV SOG Special Operations I served with. I have never seen such a brave group of men. Our motto was "we love the night life" since that is when we operated. The army saying we were "Above the Best" was a true honor. Airborne all the way.
