YEP MOST OF US HERE IN CALI WON'T SETTLE FOR A BUNCH OF RUST. WHY SHOULD WE WHEN THERE ARE ARE GOOD RUST FREE PARTS OUT THERE. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE DISABLED AND UNABLE TO SCREW AROUND WITH RUST.

ha, was wondering if that would spark curiosity. I used to have a couple early econoline when I lived in norcal. rented one to some jack-ass movie folks. they painted it yella, was supposed to wash off, didn't. they also racked up some parking tickets in SF. but I did get a new windshield out of the deal, and some good $, nearly equal to what I'd paid for the van

geez haha do you know which movie? I kinda like it yellow but did they even pay the tickets or dump the fine on you? by the way, those wheels you have on it are the same ones I have on my 67 Bronco!

the movie co went bust, I had to go repossess the van from a recording studio lot in berkeley. the movie is called Black August, I don't expect it to be good but just noticed it is available from netflix... guessing they patched up what film they had.

we had a rental agreement to prove the tickets were not mine. the yellow paint was all bumpy and some of it did wear off, like the bottom third...

Oh.....yeah I would think it would be pretty neat to see your van in a movie, even if it isn't that good

Don't get carried away guys. I sold the blue pick-up nearly two years ago - it has gone to live in Canada! Have still got the Xplorer and it shares garage space with a 83 VW Westfalia (which is getting to be a classic in its own right).

Man that Xplorer is great!!!! I have never seen one of those before!!!! geez wish I had money right now......

OMG Terry, you just gave me yet another "I'm not worthy" moment!

My wife is all over me to go to visit England someday and I'm HATE to travel. Now you got me thinking, "Well, England's not thaaat far..."
