Re: lost ignition key question ?
Always try to get the passenger side door lock. It will have less use than the driver's side. Call local locksmiths and find out what it will cost to have them come out vs. taking the locks in. Also look into replacement locks. Often a new ignition lock cylinder is under 20 bucks, although getting the old one out without a key is a drill (literally).

Re: lost ignition key question ?
delraydoug,
Go on EBay, here are 2 current auctions for Econoline ignition switch $14.55 ( 130409700239) and keyed lock w/2 keys $15.69 ( 110421441196 ). Free shipping on one and abot $3.00 on the other. Cheaper than a locksmith and you do the work.
I just bought a keyed aliked ignition lock and 2 door locks for an econoline pickup and paid about $100.00, but worth it for me and took about 5 minutes to install. I now have one key that fits every lock on the truck. There is also an auction for a keyed alike van, which consists of about 5 locks including ignition, but it`s $229.00. Hope this helps. One key worked everything when they came from the factory.
