    I may have a chance to get some front seats from a 2nd gen & rear bench seat. ??? will there work in a 1st gen???

    I LOVE THE SECOND GEN SEATS THAT WIDELOAD GAVE ME.... DON PUT THEM IN AND THEY ARE VERY Comfortable !!!! YOU DON'T SIT UP TO HIGH AND THEY JUST FEEL GOOD !!!!!!!!!!

    I tryed to put the pass seat out of my 66 Sportvan(parts van) in my 68 and the holes didn't line up at all?? But its easy to drill new holes(but a pain to pach old ones)

    When you guys say 2nd Gen..do you mean 71-up Chevy vans or 67-70 vans? I was always cornfused about that.

    2nd gen is 67 -70(curved windshield,lower headlights,& square tail & backup lights,oh yea on 68 - 70 they also had side lights) 3rd gen is 71 - 77(I think??) 4th gen 78 -???

    Tom I think 3rd gen Chevy when into the 90's not alot of changes for alot of years. My 2000 was a 4th gen and my 2005 is a 5th gen

    I list the 78 as 4th gen because they changed the grill, head lights, bumpers ,dash,engine cover(added (kind of)glove box & I think tail lights(or made them bigger) Also they added another body line(mid way from bottom,to stop door dings) for strength. I owened a 72 & 78 Chevy vans 78 was the only "New" van I ever had. And it was the new Gen of Van when I got it??

    This is the bracket I used to mount the 2nd Gen passenger seat into the 1st Gen. It had no brackets, it had that fold up jump seat in there. I had to switch tracks to mount the drivers one in.

    No I didn't, it was a handle of some sorts,,,,I used the other half to mount the rear of the track to the wheelwell in the same way.
