    is there any bolt in 4 cores available for a 64 chevy, or should i have mine recored.

    I don't think there anything that is a exact match, but I know there are alot that are close and can be made to work. Like alot of things for our vans we have to make it fit

    Radiators don't work without air flow and a stock 1st Gen aint got no airflow with the stock Doghouse,,,,,thats why they changed the 2nd Gen van doghouses by building a tunnel to the grille and laying the radiator down sideways so the air could hit it,,,,,,,,

    i already have an airscoop and tunnel, thinking of upgrading radiator, runs hot

    So what about the radiator that is in there, it won't keep you cool? is it good,,,,how many rows does it have,,,,,what kind of fan do you have,,,,,stock,,,, flex,,,, electric,,,,,do you have a shroud???

    I put that 24x19 aluminum in mine with a 16" electric fan, it will be a couple months before I can really road test it ,but sitting in the shop idling it is holding at 215 plus or minus some so far. that also is the temp sender mounted in the head toward the rear if that makes a difference.
