Re: Lift Blocks?
i have some that an older van owner gave me from before you were born (and probably before me too) and they are 3 inch blocks. i will say that it messed up the pinion angle of the driveshaft so i had to adjust my tranny mount. it needed it anyway from the PO's jimmy-rigging but it is something you might have to deal with. good luck

Re: Lift Blocks?
Any spring shop can sell you the blocks and the u-bolts. Take your van to one with the tires you want to use and they can measure and tell you what size blocks you will need and make you the correct u-bolts if they don't already have some in stock. That is what I did. You can also have your leaf springs re-arched and add a couple of extra ones to get the same effect.SIX-FO' wrote:Is anyone running them? Re: Lift Blocks?
You make them. some 1/4" strap steel and a couple drill bits. If you can get one off you'll see its not to hard to do. the stock center to center is I believe 3", duplicate the width and add the length you want. Hopefully you can reuse the bolts that are there already, One hole is 9/16s set up for a square shoulder ,,the other 3/8 or 7/16s? I think. designed not to be over tightened and keep them from twisting sideways some. Wish I had some good pics of them, Im sure Don will tho. The hole in the bushings is set up for 9/16s, so reusing the old bolts if possible is very cost effective. I used 9/16s bolts all the way around because my shackles and bolts were toasted beyond repair, Hopefully you wouldn't need to do that.

Re: Lift Blocks?
If your gunna use longer shackles, take a lesson from the off-roaders and do a brace in the center of the long shackle to eliminate side flex.
