Hey Donivan:
Raised and schooled with the Saprano type folk in Elmwood Park (right next to Chicago). My glass shop is now in Elk Grove Village (5 minutes from O'Hare), and my residence is 5 minutes from the Chain of Lakes near the Wisconsin border. I'm leaving a very large carbon footprint.
My first real large project was at the old Kodak building (18th and Prarie), across from the National Vietnam Veterans Art Museum (just west of Soldiers Field). A lot has changed in the last 10+ years. Condos, lofts, high-rises everywhere.
You need any Italian sausage, "real" Uno's/Gino's East pizza, or anything else from the Windy City, let me know.

Yup. I was having a very bad day and then two shiney red plastic discs came in the mail and put me in my happy place for a little while. At least the new mirrors and tail lights lens look good. Next scheduled stops - belly pans modifications, electrical work, windshield rubber, body work (ugh) and paint.
Ever find those pullys? What ever happened with the drive shaft issue? What else you got to do get your baby on the road?
Donivan:
Thanks- We were going to do BBQ ribs for for diner, now I'm thinking Combos!
Give me a shout next time your coming around.

Re: Hey itruns,,,,,,
Are you trying to use the typical 727 tailpiece or are you going with a manual trans where a stock driveshaft won't work?

Was the auto out of an A100? If so, someone should be able to hook you up with a stock driveshaft. If you have a trans with the long tailpiece, I don't think its going to work, but you should be able to swap the tailpiece with a shorty.

Looks like you're going to be at a crossroads - new tailpiece, manual trans, or new trans w/ short tailpiece. I'm sure there's a donor van out there that someone can get a tailpiece for you. We'd all like to see you get that van back on the road.
