newer gm wheels on our classic vans

ive had a hard time picking the right wheel, ive been through the gallery here and on other sites. i have bought and sold 4 used sets, just didnt seem to look right on my van. cragers would have been a great choice but not in my budget, smoothies were also a choice but again not in my budget. so i posted a wtb add on craigs list here for a set of s10 sport mags and a guy replied he had a set off his 03 s10 and he had put new tires on just before he took them off. so we struck a deal and i brought them home. now most of us know that these wheels are metric and the center cap is held on with small black plastic fake lug nuts. the wheel lugs had to be 7/16x20 dual thread, i got them from the lugnut king on ebay 30 bucks for a set. so heres what i did to get them on my 67 108 had to clean hub up on van
used dremal tool coarse sanding drum
removed some material from hub hole on rim


7/16 x 20-- 3/4 hex i got from a lugnut store on ebay
fit is nice and snug
wheels look great

have fun and keep on vannin

thanks. the offset on these puts them out more than the oe wheel and they are 15in, i think it fills the wheel well out and looks better. some guys here may remember this van it has been at taz's a couple times and is in the pics on the gallery. it belonged to gary sandfort down in carlinville il
