Somehow I can see the youth getting into supped up electrics. Custom wound electric motors with Cerium alloy magnets, the latest new tech batteries etc. I say the love affair with vans and cars can continue even if they run on electricity. Same blaazen stereos, cool paint jobs, custom interiors, all that, only difference will be the power and motor. With the creative genious of the Americans the future power plants could smoke tires like the V8s do.

Kakster I think your right they will go on, but I see in the future only the $$$$ will be able to afford this hobby. As the old cars supply dries up the costs will skyrocket.

I Think whats most Interesting is where they say they Dont see any thing as of Late that would be worth saveing.... (they cruised, the classic car enthusiasts discussed whether any contemporary vehicles will reach the iconic status of their trusty rides. Sadly, the drivers say, today's cars just don't measure up to the wonders of old) !!!!!!!! I KNOW THEY DONT MEASURE UP TO MY 1ST GEN CHEVY FOR SURE ... LOL.....
