I needed to change my throw out bearing, so I decided to mess around with all these different Van transmissions and compare the differences and measurements between them. These will all fit in my van,,,,,,and that 3rd Gen trans crossmember looks like a good choice for a 700R4 installation.....

Someday I will,,,,and the higher the gas prices go and stay, the sooner that day will come. I just was gathering some future information on spline teeth and driveshaft lengths. There are a lot of rear mounts out there and I think this 3rd Gen one is the prettiest and easiest to use. That round 2nd gen one won't work for me,,,,,if you install it backwards and move the engine forward, the fan will hit my 3 row radiator. It might work on a 2nd Gem.

Great information Don! That 3rd Gen van crossmember is a great fit, how it snakes its way around the exhaust and the parking brake assy. I'll have to get me one of those.

I'd sure like to be able to hang it from above, though, but that last photo shows how much longer a 700R4 is than a TH350. I bet that hanger would work great on a 200R4 and the driveshaft wouldn't even have to be shortened.

Its from driving north with strong winds from the East? No, maybe from turning right too hard? No, maybe the Coriolis force so in Australia the left rear rim is pushed out relative to the right rim.

Did you ever have the rear axil completely off your vehicle and not get it back on just right?
